WA Customers

Cannot order - Any Live Aquatic Plants, Snails, Mussels, Shrimp, Crayfish, Saratoga, Lungfish or large bodied eastern natives - Fines can apply.

Everything else is completely legal a can be imported.

Western Australia customers do incur a Quarantine Inspection fee. You the customer will be responsible for paying ALL applicable fees.

NT Customers

Require a permit for all orders, before we can ship any fish or plants.

To do so please first create a FREE of charge account with the NT fisheries, they will approve your account within 24 business hours, once completed sign in to your account & fill out the applicable import form.

TAS Customers

At this stage we are unable to send any live fish, plants, shrimp or any other aquatic life to you if you live in Tasmania, however our good friends at Kings Of The Aquarium in Hobart carry our livestock so if your after something from us please go through them. Alternatively you can contact them if they don't have something in stock that is available on our website & we will send it down to them as they have the applicable permits to do so.

What Days Do You Ship?

We dispatch on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. This ensures your fish aren’t held at a shipping site on the weekend, and promotes the best possible health and wellbeing during transit.

Where Do You Ship?

We ship anywhere in Australia, with some disclaimers.

Customers in WA: All orders in Western Australia will be billed by the government for Package Inspection. The rate is $65 per 15 minutes' inspection, with duration determined by size of order.

Customers in TAS, NT: Please get in touch with us at admin@beyondthereef.com.au for more information on import permits, quarantine inspections and fees.

What Does Shipping Cost?

Beyond The Reef provides a livestock shipping rate (including aquatic plants) of $25 to your doorstep in most postcodes of Australia.

In some regional parts of Australia, you may be charged a higher fee of $45 or $65 depending on your postcode. This will be calculated at the checkout.

How Are The Fish Packaged?

We take the utmost care in packaging our livestock orders. They are double-bagged and injected with pure grade oxygen, ensuring they can last at least 48 hours in transit.

What If I'm Not Home To Collect My Order?

By default, we ship all orders under “Authority To Leave” (ATL) terms. This grants the courier the permission to leave your parcel at your front door, even if nobody is home to sign.

Where Is My Tracking Number?

Once your order has been shipped and packed, you will receive an email with a tracking link. If your tracking link appears blank, it means the courier has not yet collected the freight. If you don’t see a tracking confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder.
