Beyond The Reef Online Store Terms & Conditions

By purchasing from our online store you agree & adhere to the following T&C's:

Custom orders may be edited/refunded on day of dispatch
Products at times use generic photos, with actual size and colour subject to variation
Size of fish in order may vary by up to 2cm, which is unavoidable due to the nature of livestock growth rates.
We aim to accommodate any request, however we cannot guarantee availability of un-sexed fish.
Customer is liable for incorrect address on order, and we will not hold responsibility for D.O.A events in these circumstances. Please double check your details are correct before placing 'Order'.
Due to constant changes of availability, fish can and do sell out without notification.
In the case of D.O.A, missing items or incorrect items, we do not send replacement fish. Customer will be compensated with store credit.
Shipping costs are non-refundable and cannot be used in conjunction with any D.O.A claim.
PLEASE NOTE: All orders in Western Australia will be billed by the government for Package Inspection. The rate is $65 per 15 minutes' inspection, with duration determined by size of order paid for by customer. You agree to this prior to placing your order with us.
Shipment may be split into multiple boxes from our headquarters in Adelaide, SA or our wide network of Australian breeders and facilities.
Due to the risk of livestock and disease, we do not accept returns. If you have any concerns about your purchase, please reach out and we will do our best to assist you.
We are unable to ship to P.O. boxes.

Shipping

What Days Do You Ship?

We dispatch on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. This ensures your fish aren’t held at a shipping site on the weekend, and promotes the best possible health and wellbeing during transit.

Where Do You Ship?

We ship anywhere in Australia, with some disclaimers.

Customers in WA: All orders in Western Australia will be billed by the government for Package Inspection. The rate is $65 per 15 minutes' inspection, with duration determined by size of order.

Customers in TAS, NT: Please get in touch with us at admin@beyondthereef.com.au for more information on import permits, quarantine inspections and fees.

What Does Shipping Cost?

Beyond The Reef provides a livestock shipping rate (including aquatic plants) of $25 to your doorstep in most postcodes of Australia.

In some regional parts of Australia, you may be charged a higher fee of $45 or $65 depending on your postcode. This will be calculated at the checkout.

How Are The Fish Packaged?

We take the utmost care in packaging our livestock orders. They are double-bagged and injected with pure grade oxygen, ensuring they can last at least 48 hours in transit.

What If I'm Not Home To Collect My Order?

By default, we ship all orders under “Authority To Leave” (ATL) terms. This grants the courier the permission to leave your parcel at your front door, even if nobody is home to sign.

Where Is My Tracking Number?

Once your order has been shipped and packed, you will receive an email with a tracking link. If your tracking link appears blank, it means the courier has not yet collected the freight. If you don’t see a tracking confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder.

What If There Is Something Wrong With My Order?

We recognise that accidents happen. In your order arrives Dead On Arrival (D.O.A), please email us within 24 hours with the following:

Tracking number showing successful delivery
Photos/video of D.O.A fish in original packaging (sealed)
