We ship anywhere in Australia, with some disclaimers.
Customers in WA: All orders in Western Australia will be billed by the government for Package Inspection. The rate is $65 per 15 minutes' inspection, with duration determined by size of order.
Customers in TAS, NT: Please get in touch with us at admin@beyondthereef.com.au for more information on import permits, quarantine inspections and fees.
What Does Shipping Cost?
Beyond The Reef provides a livestock shipping rate (including aquatic plants) of $25 to your doorstep in most postcodes of Australia.
In some regional parts of Australia, you may be charged a higher fee of $45 or $65 depending on your postcode. This will be calculated at the checkout.
How Are The Fish Packaged?
We take the utmost care in packaging our livestock orders. They are double-bagged and injected with pure grade oxygen, ensuring they can last at least 48 hours in transit.
What If I'm Not Home To Collect My Order?
By default, we ship all orders under “Authority To Leave” (ATL) terms. This grants the courier the permission to leave your parcel at your front door, even if nobody is home to sign.
Where Is My Tracking Number?
Once your order has been shipped and packed, you will receive an email with a tracking link. If your tracking link appears blank, it means the courier has not yet collected the freight. If you don’t see a tracking confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder.

What If There Is Something Wrong With My Order?
We recognise that accidents happen. In your order arrives Dead On Arrival (D.O.A), please email us within 24 hours with the following:
- Tracking number showing successful delivery
- Photos/video of D.O.A fish in original packaging (sealed)
