Leopard Oscars, originating from Brazil, Columbia, Ecuador, French Guiana and Peru, thrive in the Amazon River and its surrounding areas due to its high biodiversity. The different variations of this species offer a range of mesmerizing colors and patterns. However, keep in mind that they are territorial creatures, so caution must be taken when adding them to a new tank. Their aggressive behavior can be triggered by intruders in their space, as well as during feeding and mating.
