When Do We Ship?
We ship all orders from Monday right through to Wednesday using a premium overnight/next day delivery service. This ensures that all our livestock and aquatic plants arrive to you in the best possible condition. Once your order has been shipped & packed by one our friendly suppliers, you'll receive an email with tracking details please allow a few hours until you see any tracking history if it doesn't show up right away it just means the courier hasn’t yet collected the freight, typically the courier will pickup the shipments at around 3PM each day of the same day you get your tracking number, tracking will NOT go live until pickup has occurred. If you don't see a tracking confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder.
If you don't see any tracking history it simply means your order hasn’t been shipped.
What If Nobody Is Home To Sign The Consignment?
Not to worry! By default, we ship all orders under “Authority To Leave” (ATL) terms. This grants our courier the permission to leave your parcel at your front doorstep if nobody is home to sign the consignment.

We are here to help!
We can ship our livestock anywhere in Australia thanks to our extensive courier network. However, customers in the following states - TAS, NT, and WA - will need an import permit, there may be quarantine inspections and fees involved which YOU the customer will be responsible for paying. For WA customers we organise the inspection with authorities on behalf of the customer, this does not mean we are responsible for paying your import fee, YOU will remain entirely responsible for any inspection fees that are involved. At Beyond The Reef Aquariums, we have made shipping around Australia easy. We partner with TOLL for overnight delivery, right to your door. This means that your order will be delivered within 24 hours of dispatch, unless there are any unforeseen circumstances. Please note that we are unable to ship to P.O. boxes.
Where are we located?
We work with breeders & wholesalers all around Australia, the main few in Brisbane, Sydney, Rockhampton, Adelaide, & Melbourne, meaning we ship our orders directly from them to you! We ship our livestock from anyone of theses facilities & ask you to sit back relax & enjoy quality fish turn up to your doorstep within 24hrs! Customers love the satisfaction of receiving top quality fish in the mail & so do we! With this in mind we may split your order up in multiple boxes depending on what needs to be fulfilled in your order, needless to say your aquatic life will be at your doorstep in no time! 🌱
SHIPPING COST:
Livestock shipping including aquatic plants, is a flat rate of $22 to your doorstep- anywhere in Australia. This is a flat rate so 1 fish or 50 fish the shipping stays the same.
We take the utmost care in packaging our livestock orders. They are double-bagged and injected with pure grade oxygen, ensuring they can last at least 48 hours in transit.
Here at Beyond The Reef Aquariums we understand that accidents happen. If any orders arrive Dead On Arrival (DOA), please email us within 24 hours of successful delivery shown on the tracking with photos & videos of the dead fish in the original packaging (unopened) & still in their sealed bags , and we'll credit them accordingly, as long as they meet our terms and conditions.
All DOA's that are valid are processed as a store credit, we do not send out more fish, we arrange store credit for you to use on your next order, this is a strict guideline for all customers & all customers are treated equally.
Freight cost cannot be claimed as part of a DOA claim.
Please Note: That due to the risk of livestock and diseases, we do not accept returns, trades, or refunds once you've received your fish. However your satisfaction is important to us so if you have any concerns about your purchase, please reach out and we'll do our best to assist you.
Please Also Note: All fish shown in photos are generic, slight variation in colour & size might apply to what you've actually ordered. All customers will agree & adhere to this disclaimer BEFORE placing their order.
Just a heads Up: All the fish we sell are un-sexed. We'll try to accommodate your request, but no guarantees. 🐠
DOA EXCLUSIONS & OTHER INFORMATION:

Missing fish in your order? Before unpacking your order, check your order thoroughly, if you suspect something is missing please highlight it & tell us what it is, if something is definitely missing than please email us with clear images of all fish bags (unsealed & non-tampered) to: beyondthereefaquarium@gmail.com make sure to check your email notifications, to see if you’ve been refunded for any out of stock items, we update all customers if anything is out of stock in your order by the close of business day from the time your order gets dispatched.

If there is something missing we will cross-check with our footage, if it’s valid you will be credited in (Store Credit) to use for your next purchase.
- Please Note: Some fish may be out of stock on the day we pack your order, you will be notified of any changes/refunds by the end of our business day (5PM) this means we will still dispatch your order on time, it will just be edited & adjusted accordingly if needed, we apologise for any inconvenience & really appreciate your support!
