Mylochromis epichorialis is an iridescent blue-green, semi-aggressive haplochromine cichlid endemic to Lake Malawi. Growing up to 20 cm, males display stunning metallic coloration. In the wild, they are specialized benthic predators that use powerful, specialized teeth to crack and eat freshwater crabs.
