The moony fish species known as Monodactylus sebae, or balloon moony, is indigenous to fresh, brackish, and marine waters in the eastern Atlantic, extending from the Canary Islands to Angola. A longtime favorite in the hobby of freshwater aquariums is MONO SEBAE.
